TT = totally trammed incl. yarn

Trammed canvases look as though they are painted with wool. The pattern is stitched with horizontal stitches which you then stitch over with half cross
stitch in the same colour wool. The horizontal stitches give a guide to the shape and colour of the design. Many more colours give a end result, which is much more detailed and more hard wearing than a printed canvas. Fine details like faces and hands are stitched in petit point. Tramme canvases always come with the wool to stitch the pattern. Please order the background wool separately.

The design is already stitched so there is just the background left to stitch in a colour of your choice. Fine details like faces and hands are stitched in petit point. Some designs are completely stitched in petit point (PP). Some are a combination of half cross stitch and petit point (GP+PP)
